Welcome to OpnFit. By signing in and using OpnFit (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
OpnFit is an early-stage project provided free of charge. It is offered as-is, in the spirit of a personal tool rather than a commercial product.
1. What OpnFit is
OpnFit connects to your Google account (with your permission) and displays the health and fitness data already stored there. It also offers an AI "coach" that can discuss your data. It is a viewer for your own data; it does not create, measure, or interpret anything itself.
2. Not medical advice
OpnFit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Everything the dashboard and the AI coach show you is for general wellness and informational purposes only. See the separate Health Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard professional advice because of something OpnFit showed you.
3. Your account and access
- You sign in with your own Google account and grant OpnFit read-only access to your data.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account and your device secure.
- You may stop using the Service and revoke its access at any time via your Google account settings.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use OpnFit only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable law and Google's terms. You will not:
- misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by any means other than the interface provided;
- use it to access anyone else's data without their authorization; or
- rely on it for any medical, emergency, safety-critical, or legally-significant decision.
5. Beta software — no warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. It is a beta project and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Health data shown may be incomplete, delayed (it depends on when your device last synced), or misinterpreted by the AI coach.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers and contributors of OpnFit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, health outcomes, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Third-party services
OpnFit relies on Google (for sign-in and health data) and an AI provider (for the coach). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices.
8. Intellectual property
OpnFit, including its source code, design, and branding, is proprietary and all rights are reserved. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the hosted Service; they do not grant you any license to the underlying code.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue it at any time.
